Business by the Book

Ecclesiastes 5:3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words.

This verse really needs no illustration; It is illustrative to the point of being sublime. Over the next few days let’s dissect it.

“…A dream…”  Great people have great dreams. Dreams of building something that outlasts them, dreams of doing something no one else has ever done, specific dreams, and sometimes abstract dreams. Dreams are as different as people are different. Most people have dreams, great people fulfil their dreams.

Many times though our dreams go unfulfilled. This is universal, everyone has had a dream or two crushed by the steamroller of reality, but dreams can come true.

I’ve dreamed many dreams that never came true.

I’ve seen them vanish at dawn.

But I’ve realized enough of my dreams thank the Lord,

To make me want to dream on.

Dreams are a purely personal possession. Dreamers are often lonely at the beginning because others cannot see one’s dream. Dreamers must make their dreams a reality before others can fully appreciate it. This sidetracks many, for they grow weary of sharing their dreams only to have others belittle it and before long their dream dies, or misses its proper timing. It takes strength, courage, conviction and a strong will to continue on in a dream no one else shares, but only by continuing on will that dream become a reality.

Dare to dream. Dream big, dream often, dream repeatedly, dream vividly, and dream on! Find a dream, pursue it, and visit this page tomorrow for the key to making your dreams come true.
