Business by the Book

Proverbs 11:25  The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

Two kids decided to pull a practical joke on one of their dads.  While he was asleep on the sofa they quietly smeared Limburger cheese on his mustache.  When the man awoke he said to himself, “This sofa stinks.”  Upon getting up off the sofa he said, “This shirt I have on stinks” so he took the shirt off.  Then, “Something in this house stinks.”  So he walked outside, took in a big breath and promptly said, “The whole world stinks!” 

The sofa didn’t stink, nor did the shirt he was wearing, nor the house, nor the whole world.  He stunk.  Many are like this man.  They think the whole world stinks when in reality it is that person who stinks. 

When thinking of being liberal, most only think in terms of money.  But what about being liberal in compliments, praise, honor, respect, principle, morality, integrity, praise, or simply just being nice? 

Remember, if you think everyone and everything in the whole world stinks you may just have some Limburger cheese on your mustache.
