Minding Your Thoughts
A Biblical Overview of Obtaining and Maintaining a Biblical Thought Life
Acts 20:13 And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.
Over the past 364 days these devotions have been dedicated to “Minding Your Thoughts”. We have looked at every verse in the Bible containing the words mind, think, thought, minds, thoughts, mindful, thinkest, minded, thinking, thinketh, imagination, and imaginations. Today’s devotion contains the word minding. This is the only verse in the Bible containing this word. It has been quite a year, I trust you have been helped, instructed, challenged and blessed by these devotions.
Wherever life takes you, you have the God given gift of minding your thoughts. No one can cause you to mind your thoughts and no one can stop you from minding your thoughts. This is your prerogative; it is one of the attributes of life that is often overlooked and seldom studied. I trust you will use that which we have learned together this year to improve your thought life. And remember, the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement.
May you, for the rest of your life, be active in minding your thoughts. A proper thought life is vital to healthy Christian living. I hope you have enjoyed these devotions as much as I have enjoyed writing them for you. Lord Bless. I pray you will have a wonderful life, a life that is filled with thoughts that please both yourself and the Lord.
May the Lord bless and be pleased with your thought life today.
